Produced by milling the whole wheat grain. Contains the bran and germ as well as the endosperm and is therefore highly nutritious. Made from a hard wheat with a protein level of 13% or higher. Has a medium-brown colour and gives a hearty flavour and robust texture to baked goods. Must be refrigerated or frozen to retain freshness. USES: An all purpose flour suitable for most everyday cooking and baking needs. To increase lightness of baked goods, may need to mix the Kialla Wholemeal flour with Kialla plain flour.
