Morlife Wild Yam may reduce cholesterol. It was used traditionally to relieve labor pains, to treat morning sickness, inflammatory diseases like asthma, rheumatism and joint pain and digestive problems. Apart from that wild yam does not appear to be a natural source of progesterone. Herbs that have estrogenic properties include soy, sage, black cohosh, fennel and fenugreek. Again surprisingly dong quai is not one of them either.
