BCN’s UpLift has been scientifically formulated with a range of mood-enhancing ingredients for the relief of anxiety, nervous tension and irritability. It also contains therapeutic doses of St John’s Wort which has been shown in numerous clinical studies to improve mood and assist in the management of mood swings.
For UpLift to work well it often takes 3-6 weeks for maximum benefits to be realised. The ingredients in UpLift work synergistically and if deficiencies are present, it can take a number of weeks for levels to build up in the body.
UpLift contains ingredients that have been shown to be very well tolerated with minimal, if any, side effects. St John’s Wort has been extensively studied across the world and is one of the most commonly prescribed supplements for the treatment of depression in Europe. The most common mild side effects that have been reported include gastrointestinal symptoms and sensitivity to light (when taken in doses much greater than those used in UpLift). St John’s Wort can interact with certain medications such as the contraceptive pill so it is recommended that you discuss UpLift’s use with your doctor if you are taking any form of medication.
UpLift and antidepressants do target many of the same neurochemicals so it is recommended that if you are on antidepressants you consult with your doctor first. Some studies have actually shown that when used in conjunction with antidepressants some of the ingredients in UpLift can actually enhance their effectiveness.
Dosage: UpLift is best taken 1 tablet, 3 times a day approximately 1 hour before or after meals.
