Supplement users are healthier
Fit Tips
A recent study published in Nutrition Journal has discovered that people who consistently use supplements are healthier than non-supplement users. The researchers found supplement users had more favourable blood concentrations of health indicators like, cholesterol and triglycerides as well as a lower risk of various diseases, including heart disease.
Iodine supplementation is beneficial
Long-term research by the World Health Organisation (WHO) has discovered that many countries (including Australia) have low levels of iodine in their soil. This means many people's diets may also be low in iodine. Iodine is essential for optimum thyroid function and a low intake may impair thyroid function. BCN's MultiBoost is the ideal dieter's multi. It contains adequate amounts of iodine and selenium in order to assist thyroid function.
Incidental exercise speeds fat loss
Incidental exercise is exercise you perform by simply doing everyday activities. Some examples may include: gardening, house cleaning, walking to the shops or walking around the shops, etc. If you make a concerted effort to include incidental exercise as a part of your lifestyle, your fat-loss results will be much faster.
It is interesting to note that only a few generations ago incidental exercise made up a large component of daily energy (calorie) expenditure. These days however, with our modern lifestyles and energy-saving devices, incidental exercise is a very small component. If you want to lose weight faster then make incidental exercise a larger part of your life.
Regular exercise makes you happier
A substantial body of research has shown that regular exercise makes people happier. It is thought to result from increased production of endorphins (the body's natural opiate, happy hormone). If feeling happy is important to you then make exercise a regular part of your lifestyle.
