Herbs for Circulation
Garlic has been observed to dramatically remove the plaque building up inside arteries which causes artheroschlerosis. Ginkgo biloba has been used for centuries by the Chinese to improve circulation and mental function. Ginkgo can remove plaque, dilate blood vessels and also has an anti aging, anti oxidant effect.
Ginger improves peripheral circulation and reduces swelling. Grape seed extract prevents inflammation and enzymes from deteriorating the collagen in blood vessels. This makes blood vessels less leaky, improving circuation.
Anthocyanin found in red wine has a similar effect to grape seed extract, and also increases blood flow, for example to the eyes, thereby reducing the risk of blindless and amputation in diabetics and the elderly.
