Marshallow has a high mucilage content giving it emollient and demulcent properties. Mucilage, when mixed with water expands to many times its original volume. This can provide a soothing effect that has been found to be of particular use in inflammatory conditions of the digestive system. The mucilage in Marshmallow has also been found to have a soothing effect in the respiratory tract.

Althaea officinalis (Marshmallo) root powder 450mg
Dosage
Adults:
Take two capsules with a meal three times daily.
