Black Strap Molasses is made from sugarcane. The roots of the sugar cane are deep and therefore able to receive a boad spectrum of minerals and trace elements. Black Strap Molasses is the liquor left after the removal of the crystalised sugar.
Organic Molasses can be used as a delicious topping, or a recipe ingredient. It is a significant ingredient in Melrose Organic Worcestershire Sauce. Bakers use it in Organic Rye Bread to give it that familiar dark colour.
