Morlife Dong Quai may inhibit melanoma cells. It has been used traditionally in Chinese medicine to increase red blood cells and promote blood circulation. Dang Quai is also used to treat skin diseases like leucoderma (vitiligo), skin infections and eczema. Also asthma and arrhythmia. Dong Quai is claimed by western herbalists to be estrogenic, however checking a textbook of Chinese medicine, the herb seems to be used to increase red blood cell count. In addition modern double blind studies have failed to detect any estrogenic activity.
